Shosei Koda (香田 証生 Kōda Shōsei?, 29 November 1979 – 29 October 2004) was a Japanese citizen who was kidnapped and later beheaded in Iraq on 29 October 2004, by Zarqawi´s group, while touring the country. He was the first Japanese beheaded in Iraq
Koda left Amman on 20 October 2004.He ignored advice not to travel to Iraq, and entered the country because he wanted to know what was happening there.
Koda's captors stated that they would "treat him like his predecessors Berg and Bigley" (Bigley was murdered just weeks before by the organization, before being known as Al Qaeda in Iraq) if Japan did not withdraw its forces from Iraq within 48 hours. The Japanese government headed by Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi refused to comply with these demands, stating that they will not concede to terrorists.
In the video sequence of Koda's murder, Koda sits on the American flag, his captors standing behind him. Koda's hands are tied behind his back. He is blindfolded while a captor reads a speech for two minutes and ten seconds. The captors then hold him down on the ground as they begin to decapitate him. Throughout the beheading, the captors chant "Erhaby Ana," a nasheed. The video sequence ends with shots of Koda's severed head on top of his body followed by shots of the banner of al-Qaeda in Iraq. His body was found in Baghdad on 30 October wrapped in an American flag
Koda's body was returned to Japan. His death provoked mixed responses in Japan. While many Japanese citizens were angered and appalled by the murder, some blamed the victim and others criticized the Koizumi administration.
Koda's given name, Shōsei, literally means "proof of life" in Japanese. Mark Simkin of the Australian television news program Lateline said that this was an "awful irony" for people who had prayed for Koda's survival for four days

1188 dead in a Massacre by Chemical Weapon-Syria
At around 3:00 a.m. in the morning, regime's forces fired rockets with chemical heads on Zamallaka and on Al Zainia area in Ein Turma. Jobar district was slightly affected by as the gases were driven to it by the wind. A big number of civilians were consequently subjected to the gases, leading to the martyrdom of tens of them. Up until now, primary reports from makeshift hospital of Arbeen (where victims were taken) report 41 martyrs fell (22 children, 11 women, 8 men), 5 other martyrs were taken to Douma, 40 martyrs documented by videos in Saqba, and at least 20 martyrs inside Ein Turma itself. Most activists report that death toll amounts to more than a 100 up until now. Many of the martyrs are children, seen in videos below suffocating to death.
Do note that the death toll is very hard to report right now as there are up to 80 civilians in critical conditions in a medical point in Arbeen solely, not mentioning all the other areas to which the patients subjected to the chemical weapons were taken to. [Note: patients were taken to several areas for treatment including Arbeen, Saqba, and Douma].
Symptoms of the patients include nausea, hallucinations, suffocation, hard coughing, high blood pressure, seizures, during affection and post-death gargle, etc. Still, no clue of the chemical weapon/toxic gas that was used by the regime's forces to target the innocent civilians.
Families are fleeing the targeted areas to Saqba and several other nearby areas as reported by activists there as they are utterly horrified. Activists also report the lack of Atropine that is usually used to treat civilians during chemical attacks by the regime; oxygen tanks are not available too. Medics are only using vinegar to the mouth and nose and are washing the bodies of the victims by water.

Innocent Students Lynched By Angry Mob While Policemen watched (Graphic Video)
A 25-year-old undergraduate of Delta State University, Ifechukwude Nwainokpor, and his friend, identified simply as Kazeem were attacked and beaten to death by a mob at the Ajara area of Badagry on the ground that their faces looked strange in the neighborhood while policemen watched on
An eight-minute video clip of the gruesome killing showed the two victims handcuffed together. They were covered in their own blood and beaten to death with sticks. Tyres were also put round their necks.
The lynching took place around 3pm on July 21, 2013 in Ajara area of Badagry, a community not far from Nwainokpor’s family home.
Ifechukwude Nwainokpor's father, Samuel, said that his son was arrested while passing through a street in the area but a misunderstanding later ensued and the hoodlums pounced on him and Kazeem.
Father said that it happened because there had been a robbery in Ajara four days earlier, some of the residents were on the lookout for strange faces and so when the youth saw two unknown young men, they accosted them and an argument ensued.
After that the youth called the head of the vigilante group in the area, one Asiribo and it was decided that the boys be taken to the Baale, Agano Oniyon of Agamade Ajara.
But as they were going, Asiribo, while trying to return his gun into its pouch, mistakenly shot himself in the stomach and died. "Asiribo’s death infuriated the youth, who blamed the boys for his death. The mob picked up sticks and beat them to death. Policemen were there,” he said.
The spokesperson for the state police command, Ngozi Braide, said, “The incident is quite pathetic. Even if they were armed robbers, no one has the right to take the life of another. Why then do we have the police and the judiciary?
The Nigerian police as well as the law condemn mob action and jungle justice. Two of the policemen identified as Inspector Adefemi Ashogbon, who is the station officer of the Badagry Police Division, and one Sergeant John Sonayon have been arrested.
The two policemen and four other yet-to-be-identified policemen could be seen at the scene watching hoodlums beat the victims to death.
While Ashogbon and Sonayon were in the midst of the crowd, the four yet-to-be-identified policemen could be seen standing beside a white police patrol vehicle.
Ashogbon, who wore a green pullover and holding an AK47 rifle in the video, was the policeman that interviewed the victims during their torture.
It was learnt that the two policemen and some of the hoodlums had been arrested and investigations are still on-going.
